ANGELA ONYEADOR BURIED

July 17, 2012, was the day the very gorgeous Late socialite and Consummate Art lover-Angela Onyeador was finally laid to rest at the Ikoyi Vaults and Gardens amidst a very solemn gathering. Before the burial yesterday, the wake keep for the very much loved lady had taken place on Monday, July 16, 2012, at a small Catholic Church at 41, Ribadu Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.

In attendance at the Wake Keep service to pay their last respect to their beloved friend and family member, who had passed on to the great beyond a few weeks ago, were her Husband-Captain Samuel G. Nayson, a Pilot, who we heard was a strong pillar of strength for the lady in her last days, to show how much he loved his late wife, at a point during the wake, he gave over to the emotions in him and had tears rolling down uncontrollably down his cheeks, also there at the wake, were her 2 kids-Ikem and Adaora who we hear are in their early 20's. Some of the other faces we could recognize at the Church were the CEO of Emzor, Stella Okoli, the very cerebral wife of the late MKO,Dr. Doyin Abiola, Mrs. Abah Folawiyo, the everly gorgeous Fifi Ejindu, Senator Udo Udoma, Nkiru Anumudu, the publisher of Vanguard Newspaper, Mr. Sam Amuka Pemu  and a few others. The wake-keep that started at about 6:30PM on that Monday ended at about 8:30PM.

The funeral service which was at the Church of the Assumption, Falomo, Ikoyi, Lagos started quite early at about 9:30am yesterday, some of those we saw at the Church were Olorogun Oskar Ibru, the Yeye Oge of Lagos, Chief Mrs. Opral Benson, Bashorun J.K Randle, Dr. Sonny Kuku, Dr. Tunde Soleye, Lanre Ogunlesi, former Nigerian National Football team Captain Kanu Nwankwo and his wife, Amara who we hear is a close relation of the deceased, at a point later during the proceedings she couldn't hold herself anymore and gave over to her emotions. The Brown like casket was by Tunde Okusanya's MIC Caskets, and they were also the pallbearers. The church service finished at about 11:30 AM.

Interment followed at Ikoyi Vaults & Gardens and reception later followed at Idowu Martins.

May the Soul of the dearly departed continually rest in peace.
