AFRICA FASHION RECEPTION IN PARIS



AFRICA FASHION RECEPTION TO GATHER THE CONTINENT LEADING DESIGNERS IN PARIS, ON JUNE 22ND, 2013, IN COLLABORATION WITH THE WORLD FASHION EXHIBITION AND WORLD FASHION ORGANIZATION.

Legendary Gold Limited in Collaboration with the World Fashion Organization and the World Fashion Exhibition will present the First Africa Fashion Reception with the support of the Nigerian Embassy in France. The prestigious evening  will be held on June 22nd, at the historic Salle Wagram in Paris.

The Africa Fashion Reception is one of the activities lined up by the World Fashion Organization that will act as a countdown to the World Fashion Week, Paris 2014. It will be presenting designers from over 20 African countries with only one nominated designer representing each of those countries.



The Africa Fashion Reception will be welcoming to Paris Ambassadors, First Ladies and VIPs from participating countries, local and international press and buyers from around the world.



Participating designers by country includes Anggy Haif, Cameroun, Francois 1er, Burkina Faso, Soucha, Egypt, Fay designs, Zambia, B’Exotiq by Bee Arthur, Ghana, Kipusa, Kenya, Moie, Liberia, Maria Bocoum, Mali, Siham El Habti, Morocco, Frank Osodi, Nigeria, Lilly Alfonso, Malawi, Dady de Maximo, Rwanda, Nafytoo, Senegal, Diana Fashion, Tanzania, Tim Creation, Ivory Coast, JSE Couture, South Africa, Genet’s Garment, Ethiopia, Wogui, Mozambique and Chaivo designs, Zimbabwe.

During the Africa Fashion Reception, the World Fashion Exhibition® will be presented, showcasing Haute Couture Masterpieces from designers of over 30 nations.

The Africa Fashion Reception is aimed at creating global market for garments and lifestyle products from Africa while supporting the empowerment of African rural women through fashion vocation enterprise. To this end, the Better Life for African Rural Women.www.betterlife-africa.org is the benefitting foundation of AFR.
